We de­mons­tra­te an easy ex­ten­si­on of con­ven­tio­nal ca­pa­bi­li­ties for the SICRIT® Ion Source, cou­pled to a high-re­­so­lu­­ti­on MS in­stru­ment, th­rough a me­­ta­­bo­­lo­­mic-ba­­sed breath ana­ly­sis and how groups of tar­get mas­ses can be iso­la­ted and ana­ly­zed for po­ten­ti­al bio­mar­ker iden­ti­fi­ca­ti­on.
